1,000 Years of Oxfordshire History

20 November 2010 - 30 January 2011

Featuring work by the Oxfordshire & Buckinghamshire Woodcarvers Association.

 

The culmination of a group project, this exhibition illustrates the famous historic events and landmarks of the county, beautifully carved in four wooden panels. The work of 15 carvers over a period of 18 months, the panels are eventually destined for a permanent home in Abingdon Guildhall. The exhibition will also feature more figurative work by this talented group and provide the opportunity to join them for a practical workshop on Sunday 21 November.
