Chris Gollon

The River & Rowing Museum commissioned a painting on the theme of the beauty and pain of sport from established British artist Chris Gollon. The finished work, depicting Henley Royal Regatta, has become part of the Museum's permanent collection. The main image - Gollon at Henley - is now on display at the top of the stairs. The entire exhibition - that was installed in our Kirkham Gallery in Spring 2008 - shows Henley Royal Regatta as you've never seen it before.
