Lisa Henderson: Recent Paintings
The Wall
24 February – 6 May 2007
Contemporary artist and art historian Lisa Henderson has created a new series of landscapes including some irectly inspired by the Thames and its hinterland.
Her semi-abstract paintings and collages are rich with texture and colour and are the result of a sensitive balance between process, chance intervention and control. Topographical recognition is readily sacrificed in order to capture the spirit of a place using memory and feeling rather than sketches or photographs.
Each work is an adventure, which reflects a powerfully personal and atmospheric response.
The paintings in this exhibition are for sale please Contact Us if you would like more information.
