Elizabeth Hazeldine is a member of the Museum staff and is also a Museum volunteer researching local history.
This talk will consider some of the people who have been part of the long history of St Mary's Church, Henley. Find out about Richard Jennings, the master carpenter of St Paul's and Elizabeth Periam, the three-times married founder of the Chantry House School, as well as the individuals who commissioned alterations to the church. What happened to St Mary's during the Civil War will also be discussed.
